Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PhDTutorials LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information across our website at phdtutorials.com and the products we publish, including ChemGenius and Fluent Feast (each, a “Product”).

1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. If a Product offers accounts, we collect an email address and, where applicable, a name. Authentication may be handled by a third-party identity provider such as Apple, Google, or {{ Clerk / Firebase / other }}.
- Content you provide. Notes, study materials, recipes, photos of ingredients, molecular structures, and similar user-generated content created inside a Product.
- Usage and device data. Limited diagnostic and analytics data such as device model, OS version, app version, crash reports, and aggregate feature usage.
- Purchase and entitlement data. If a Product offers paid features, we receive subscription and purchase status from {{ App Store / Google Play / RevenueCat }}. We do not receive or store full payment card information.
2. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Products.
- To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries. Day-to-day support and billing for each Product are handled by that Product’s team at its own support address (see Support).
- To send service-related communications (account notices, security alerts).
- To comply with legal obligations and to enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as described in this policy:
- Service providers. Hosting, analytics, error monitoring, and similar vendors that process data on our behalf under written agreements (e.g., {{ Vercel, Sentry, PostHog, AWS S3, Neon }}).
- App stores. Apple and Google receive purchase information when you buy a subscription through their stores.
- Legal compliance. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Products.
4. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Products. Account deletion requests are processed within {{ 30 days }} of receipt. Some information may be retained longer where required by law or to resolve disputes.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@phdtutorials.com.
6. Children
The Products are not directed to children under {{ 13 / 16 }}, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. International transfers
We operate from the United States. By using the Products, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Products or by email.
